It’s not our first time there and there’s no mystery in returning back.
Do you know what we call it? “Sheer Grit & Determination”
And here we’re pointing on Indigo on the Roof ! The high quality of food, service, staff & presentation made it a repetitive joy of coming back… This time for a Sunday brunch at Le Gray - Beirut.
What I loved about it is the concept in itself; you can enjoy an international menu and select the cuisines you want.
Sunday brunch at Indigo on the roof is exactly what the famous quote says:
“You Get What You Wish For”
Once seated, a moving trolley welcomed us with refreshing drinks of Martini and Prosecco.
The chefs and waiters are always attentive and eager to assist you. Trust me, you’re going to be surprised, not knowing where to start.
It’s time to pick up our forks and knives, to put them down later. We made a selection of each corner.
ICED SHELLFISH AND SEAFOOD:
You can’t miss the fresh fine de Claire oysters and assort a selection of sushi and sashimi.
THE CHARCUTERIE AND CHEESE:
Cheese lovers! I bet you can leave this section and your hands free!
SALAD:
We postponed it for our next visit so we can taste the main dishes.
THE LIVE CRAVING:
The baked salmon is a must! I craved for the freshness with its savory hollandaise sauce.
Another dish is the Roast Prime rib of beef topped with Yorkshire pudding and horseradish sauce. The combination is divine, a typical English dish. The presentation is very tempting. The beef is fantastic, cooked on point, preserving its juiciness; best eaten with mashed potatoes with black truffle and cauliflower with cheese sauce.
TASTE OF ITALY:
My choice of pasta was the tortellini with pink sauce. EPIC!
MEXICAN SPOT:
A Mexican twist? Ahuevo! You can’t miss the fajita wraps at Indigo.
Unfortunately, we missed the tempura and Indian dishes. The chef seduced us with the eggs Florentine with smoked salmon and spinach. This heavenly plate left no room for other cuisines.
It was worth the try, CHAPEAU!
LET’S SHEER FOR SOME DESSERT:
I enjoyed the live crepe station, I mixed all the toppings together but turned out cute with the festive spirit.
The dessert section is huge and I’ll name few for my brain to tackle them in our next visit.
Hope you enjoyed our review!
