As part of its continuous initiatives to raise awareness about bone health and safety, Bellevue Medical Center set up an interactive booth during a three-day awareness campaign at the ABC mall in Ashrafieh. The bone health-oriented campaign was entitled “Love your bones”.
Leading orthopedics and healthcare experts participating in this activity answered the attendees’ bone health-related questions. The public benefited of free medical consultations and tests throughout the three days of the campaign, offered by Bellevue’s healthcare team.
During the first day of the campaign, members of the press met with spine surgery and orthopedics experts, physical therapists, nutrition therapists and specialized orthopedics nurses among other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
The public and the press delegates were introduced to prevalent spine and bone health problems, specifically back pain, sports-related injuries and their treatments, including bone health-promoting diets and stress management counseling.
