We were so happy to be attending the Launching of ChefXChange in Beirut. We should always thank the UK Lebanon Tech Hub for their hosting and professional organization of each and every event they manage. When I first came to UK Lebanon Tech Hub to attend a lecture, they talked to me about ChefXChange since we already have the food section in our online magazine. I was amazed by the concept and excited about the launching in Lebanon. They took a great decision when they chose to expand in other countries and one of them is Lebanon.
Lebanese people love food and have a great taste when it comes to food and beverages. It was a great pleasure meeting the co-founders of ChefXChange ; Karl Naim and Marc Washington as we talked about their ideas and how it became real by hard work and strong belief. Marc Karl made a presentation after the buffet and talked about their company and its main objective: ChefXChange is an online marketplace that connects chefs with foodies looking to host a culinary experience in the comfort of their homes or venues, hassle free. We hope that by bringing together our clients kitchens with talented chefs who bring their know-how and creativity, they can have a dining experience that is unique and not found anywhere else.
Our mission is to democratize the culinary world, similar to what Uber did with private drivers and Airbnb with private homes. At the launching, we met 3 chefs: Chef Karim who served us with the best salad (I personally ate two), Chef Elia know for delicious Persian tut and Chef Rima for the mouthwatering chicken dish. You can go through the profile of each chef by checking ChefXchange website
